When purchasing cranes for lifting, then in the class of the 5-axle cranes there is no way around the ATF 220G-5. High load capacity combined with a 68 m main boom and an axle load of 12 t ensure possible utilisation and applications up to the 6-axle class. This generates enormous income opportunities.
The boom extensions can be bent mechanically or hydraulically. As the bending is made at the main boom head, the ATF 220G-5 can be placed close to buildings and lift loads far beyond the building’s edges thanks to the 20 or 40 degree bending of the boom extensions. Here, competitors are required to rig complex jibs. The installation close to the buildings also ensures a short working radius so that the full range of the load charts can be utilised and less construction site space is blocked by the crane.
